This Privacy Notice explains how USolver Inc. (“USolver,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use the USolver website, USolver Editor App, Mobile Website, and AI integrations, or communicate with us (collectively, the “Services”). It also explains the privacy choices and rights available to you.
USolver is the controller of personal information described in this notice unless we process information for an organization under a separate agreement. Links and services operated by others are governed by their own privacy notices.
We collect the following categories of information:
We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the Services, and from services you choose to connect. For example, a sign-in provider may give us your name, email address, provider account identifier, and other profile information you authorize. Other users or organizations may also provide information when they share content with you or invite you to collaborate.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of the Services and you are authorized to provide it. Content may become accessible to other people if you publish it, make it public, or share it with them.
We use personal information to:
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.
If you use an AI feature provided by USolver, we may send your prompt, selected content, and supporting files to an AI service provider to complete your request. If you connect USolver to ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or another third-party AI service, that provider may process your requests and results under its own terms and privacy notice. Only connect an account or submit content when you are authorized to do so.
USolver does not use private account content to train its own general-purpose AI models. We may use limited usage and diagnostic information to operate, secure, and improve the Services. AI providers may have their own data-use practices, so review the provider's settings and privacy notice before using an integration.
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the following purposes:
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising. We may disclose de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you.
USolver uses cookies and similar technologies needed for sessions, authentication, security, and preferences. We also use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. These technologies may collect device, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, referral, page-view, and interaction information.
You can allow or decline analytics through Cookie Settings in the website footer. You may change that choice at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Because we do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising, an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control does not change those practices. If our practices change, we will honor applicable opt-out signals as required by law.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice. Account information and private content are generally kept while your account is active. We may retain transaction records, security logs, support records, and limited account information longer when needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or legal compliance. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups until those backups are overwritten or securely deleted.
Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the feature involved, user instructions, legal requirements, and security needs. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless law permits or requires continued retention.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials confidential and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
USolver and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or contractual protections.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without legally valid consent or authorization. A child under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information unless use is authorized by a parent, guardian, or school as permitted by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Schools and other organizations are responsible for obtaining any consent required for accounts they create or direct students to use. When USolver processes student information on behalf of a school under a separate agreement, we use that information to provide the contracted Services and follow the school's lawful instructions.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of your personal information; correction; deletion; restriction of or objection to processing; data portability; withdrawal of consent; and an appeal of a denied request. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, certain sharing, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. USolver does not currently engage in those opt-out activities.
You may update account details or delete your account through account settings where available. You may also submit a request through our Support page. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
In the preceding 12 months, USolver may have collected the categories described in Section 1: identifiers and account details; customer and transaction records; internet or other electronic activity; approximate geolocation derived from IP address; professional information you provide; user content, which may include audio, visual, educational, or other information; and inferences needed to provide or secure the Services. We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 1, use them for the purposes in Section 2, and disclose them to the recipient categories in Section 4.
USolver has not sold these categories of personal information or shared them for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. California residents may exercise the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about our data practices by using the methods in Section 10.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, USolver Inc. is the controller for the processing described in this notice. The legal bases are described in Section 2. You may exercise the rights listed in Section 10 and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address your concern.
We may update this notice to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or applicable law. We will change the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
